I wanted to catch you up on our clan. A few weeks ago, we lost our dear Zelda Blue. She was diagnosed with a very aggressive bone cancer and her health quickly deteriorated. We are so thankful for the wonderful vet staff who supported us through this time.
We made the difficult decision to end her pain and suffering. This has been heartbreaking for our family since we’ve had her since she was just a young pup and she was a part of our family.
Zelda was just 2 1/2 years old, which is definitely not long enough to spoil a dog. We are doing ok, unfortunately we’ve lost dogs before and know the pain all too well. You know when you get a dog that there will come a day when it’s time to say goodbye and it’s never easy. For us, the love and joy they bring to a family far outweighs the pain and heartache that we know we will one day face, so yes we will always have a dog – at least one. 🙂
Luckily we have our two amazing canine boys, Kramer and George. They are growing closer each day and making Zelda proud with their play that Kramer taught Zelda and Zelda passed on to little George. Really, could George sit any closer to Kramer? Kramer is officially on the disabled list dealing with a shoulder injury. X-rays looked good, so we’re hopeful it’s just a torn muscle and with a little rest and rehabilitation, he’ll be feeling better soon. Yes, George is pressing on the bad shoulder so Kramer wasn’t too pleased in the photo. And look, we upgraded our rug. Our old rug was 17 years old and had lived it’s life with us. The big green beast weighed a ton and luckily it found a new home to some lucky Craigslister, stains and smells and all.
So now you’re caught up on the dog news of our clan. Hug your furry family members and spoil them rotten! Kramer and George say Hello!
So sorry to hear of the painful loss of yr families baby. Does not matter how many u have they are still yr babies. Yr other two are beautiful and know u all love them dearly but they can not ever take the place of yr precious one u lost. God bless yr family and I will be praying for u and especially yr children. It is much harder for them!
