I’ve always been infatuated with make-up and beauty products. When I was little I would sneak make-up to school, asked for make up every year for Christmas, took any old hand-me-down goodies my granny gave me. I loved it, wanted to try all the products I could get my little hands on. When I worked full time, I wore make-up every day. Full fledge – foundation, eyes, liner, mascara, lips etc. I am not a just run out of the house in a little lip gloss kind of girl. Now that I am a stay at home, there are many days when I leave the house without any make up and head straight to the gym, or with make-up still on from the day before because I was too lazy to wash my face before bed. GASP! I know, that’s bad, bad, bad! When browsing Pinterest or something comes up and I see a video of someone basically reviewing a product, I always wonder how they started doing that. I wonder how they are lucky enough for companies to send them products to test and try out, give their review and add to their pot of gold. This week, I was lucky enough to be asked by my friend Elisha who is an Independent Presenter for Younique to try a product, give a little review, and spread the word. I saw her posts about the product and read up on reviews myself so I was eager to give the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes a try.
Everyone has features they wish they could swap out or enhance in some way. For me, one of those is my lashes. I have skimpy little lashes. I’ve tried drugstore mascara, expensive department store mascara, double coats, triple coats and when I get too carried away with mascara, they just end up looking like messy spider legs that have been chopped off. Yes, still short and skimpy, but just all that gunk on them. It’s not a pretty sight. Then I end up wiping it all off and starting over. The Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes give more length and definitely more volume, but you can ease into building this up to your comfort level. When I wear the 3D Fiber Lashes, I do not feel like I have spider eyes or over-the-top false lashes on. They don’t affect my sight or have any issues with stickiness. I have contacts and they did not bother me at all. The Fiber Lashes look natural, but just give my eyes more pop and much needed help in my lacking lash area.
Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes are a multi step mascara product consisting of a Transplanting Gel and Moodstruck Natural Fibers. This multi step process adds volume and length to lashes by the amazing little natural green tea fibers. They cost around $30. I know I’ve paid close to that before on mascaras and not been happy with my purchase at department stores. I recommend watching a video or two on application of the Fiber Lashes before trying to apply for the first time. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to add in to your special occasion, or even every day make up routine. You first want to curl your lashes, then apply a thin base coat of your regular mascara. Once that is dry, apply a thin coat of the Transplanting Gel. With this gel still wet, apply the 3D Fibers. Then it’s very important to apply another coat of the Transplanting Gel to seal the Fibers.

Here’s my video of my first time applying the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes.
After making my video, with help from my 10 year old, I have more respect for all those make up You Tubers. If you mess up, you usually have to wash the make up off and start over, which I’ll admit, I had to do. I also have a hard time looking at the correct spot for the camera on my phone and end up looking cross eyed in the pictures. So my video blogging skills need a little work, but I do like this mascara! I’m excited to share this product with my friends and family and it’s definitely a new regular in my make-up routine!

Here’s a link to my party. It is now through December 23rd and is all online. You can order right from your home! If you come across this post after the party has ended, you can always still contact my friend Elisha to order.
Love the video
